The LODGE is our largest vacation rental that sits on the Gold Medal fishing waters of the Rio Grande River with a large shaded yard, spacious deck and beautiful mountain views.  Enjoy the new outdoor living space under a 20x20 covered pavilion! Cook dinner on the propane or charcoal grill, or roast hotdogs over the fire pit and enjoy your meals come rain or shine in the great outdoors. 
The Lodge will accommodate  25 guests on 3 levels and has 6 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft and 3 1/2 bathrooms.  The large game room with a pool table, ping pong table, board games, cards and smart tv is a hit with the teenagers!!  The LODGE is perfect for family reunions, ATV/ ski/ fishing groups, men's/ women's retreats, and quilt/ craft scrapbook retreats.  It sits on 4 acres and has plenty of parking for multiple  trucks with UTV/ snow mobile trailers.  You will love the privacy that the Lodge offers its guests!  Enjoy morning coffee or an evening beverage on the upper deck overlooking the river and watch guided fishing tours or rafters/ kayakers float by.  You can even raft in/ out of the back yard.  Want to roast s'mores over a campfire?  We have a riverside fire pit that is perfect for that!  Plan to fish the river or in one of the many nearby lakes? There is even a fish cleaning station for you to clean your day's catch and a charcoal grill for cooking up supper!  Enjoy a variety of yard games with the family in the large shaded yard.  We also have a horse pen available for guest use- perfect for hunters!  You will love making memories at Rio River Retreat Lodge and will want to make it an annual vacation destination! 
NOTE- The Lodge is NOT pet friendly due to owners/ cleaners severe allergies.  Should you have a service dog, owners MUST be made aware at time of booking and additional cleaning fee of $500 will be charged to cover additional cleaner, carpet cleaning and laundry fee.
